athletic supervisors, recreation leaders, etc.) who will fit
smoothly into your staff using your timeline, our understanding
and above all—you and your staff’s desires. Our
focus ensures a successful candidate who will be well-qualified,
background sound, and possesses the right skill set and personality.
Pre-hiring search stages
include: a preliminary meeting with you to analyze
personnel needs and to determine objectives to retain a new
member of staff. This includes a job description, wage classification,
and qualifications as well as the anticipated date you would
like the new employee to begin work.
Once those parameters are determined, the job
is posted and PIVOT enters the next stage. We review
the applicants, solicit specialized skill assignments, and
request transcripts. You are free to focus on your daily routine
knowing that the right candidates will be forthcoming for
your final selection.
Serious applicants
then forward their completed assignments to PIVOT Recreation
Resources where we review their responses and examine credentials
to make certain the requirements of the position. These include
education, experience, a task they would normally perform
as part of their job routine, knowledge of the position and
their ability to communicate.
As the more extraordinary candidates emerge, background checks
and an investigation of criminal records begins as well as
compatibility checks between finalists and supervisors.

Resources, we feel that the right fit is extremely important
to your staff. The completion of a job profile by three
current employees of your agency is performed. In this way,
we can begin to relate exactly what your staff is looking
for in a potential candidate, so that their needs and wishes

a thorough personality assessment on the finalists. This
state-of-the-art system is designed to identify critical behavioral
competencies required of the successful candidate in a particular
position and will accurately correlate a potential candidate’s
responses to the established behavioral demands of the job.
We draw comparisons from these tests of behavioral traits
of the ideal candidate to fit the agency and your staff’s
aspirations.
The candidates are narrowed
down and the selection process moves into the interview stage.
Most candidates who enter this phase are highly qualified
for the position. However, this is where personality becomes
reality and key behavioral competencies and communication
styles are checked through attitude, skills and capacity questions.
Now that the best fit has been determined for
your agency, top candidates are forwarded to you for your
