With filtration an issue
at their functionally obsolete 1930s pool, health-conscious
citizens warranted concerns; however, fixing the
pool would not generate excitement to continue
use. Residents knew that Cleburne could benefit
athletically and socially with the creation of
a new facility. After conducting an Impact Study
in January 2003, this city of 27,000 residents
went the next step – Design and Development.
Counsilman / Hunsaker & Associates and Brinkley
Sargent Architects designed a new aquatics facility.
1,000 residents enjoyed this successful project
on opening day.
