The purpose of this Facility Impact Study was to provide a preparatory, comprehensive analysis focusing on a potential aquatics facility for the Irmo Chapin Recreation District and the surrounding area. Information was gathered through discussions and interviews with the recreation commission staff as well as community focus groups. A family-oriented outdoor seasonal waterpark with an indoor competition pool and therapy pool was conceptualized. Project costs, expenses, and expected revenue were created for three concepts.
