The Lodge Des Peres partnered
with PIVOT Recreation Resources in both a Facility
Impact Study and Launch Operations Training. The
City of Des Peres was opening its first major municipal
recreation facility and needed validating comparisons
for revenue and expense projections. The Lodge is
a unique facility in that it has an indoor wave
pool. The new facility required the hiring all new
staff, none of which had experience managing an
indoor wave pool and were concerned about the safety
of the patrons and the maintenance of water chemistry.
PIVOT trained the staff on each of the mechanical
systems and the specifics of the chemicals used
in the facility. PIVOT helped The Lodge staff successfully
operate an indoor and outdoor aquatic facility in
the first year.
