From a series of community mining
activities and an examination of local recreation,
demographics, and community influences, the Collinsville
Area Recreation District Staff and Board participated
in a Strategic Planning process. Strategies were
created to determine short and long term goals in
order to support findings from a resident survey.
After a thorough analysis was conducted of the existing
system portfolio, the planning team was taught how
to prioritize the strategies and to write tactics
to provide a timeline as to when the strategies
would be completed.
