This study included an indoor
competitive aquatic facility to provide additional
aquatic experiences in the form of lessons for
school district children and a competitive swimming
venue to accommodate the much needed competitive
swim market. The report was based on research
including meetings with the school district executive
staff, interviews with representatives of the
community, and an analysis of the existing aquatic
conditions in the Long Branch, New Jersey, region
The Facility Impact Study identified the community
needs for a competitive aquatic facility and determined
programming required to generate revenues to recover
operational costs associated with those needs.
